Outlook Comes to Android and iOS, Office for Android Leaves Preview


Android/iOS: In the middle of the 29th January night, Microsoft dropped some excellent news. Outlook has finally arrived on Android and iOS. As a bonus, Microsoft Office for Android tablets is out of beta preview and releasing on time.
The new Outlook app-which is available in full release for iOS, and a preview release for Android-includes email, calendar, and file management functionality, much like you're accustomed to with other versions of Outlook. As for the rest of the Office suite, Microsoft has announced that the Android tablet versions of the apps are no longer in "preview" form. You can use them for basic editing, but if you want to access "premium features", you'll need an Office 365 subscription

Google launches OnHub, a simple, expensive Wi-Fi router

Hate your finicky Wi-Fi router? Google does too, apparently. Google announced Tuesday that it's making a Wi-Fi router called OnHub, which is designed to alleviate the typical frustrations of buggy routers. It is partnering with TP-Link for the $199 router, available for immediate preorder. Google's preorder page already lists it as out of stock. In terms of design, the OnHub doesn't really look like any router before it. It eschews the usual antennas, wires and blinking lights for a large cylindrical shape with just one large light at the top. Google's cylindrical OnHub router.
